Robert Downey Jr. Won’t See Bars…Again

Oscar nominated actor Robert Downey Jr. plead no contest in court yesterday and was sentenced to three years probation including one year as a resident at a live-in drug rehab program.

The Wonder Boys star was arrested for cocaine possession and being under the influence of a controlled substance last November and also picked up from an alley just months ago, but no arrest followed. This is the second time Robert has been slapped with felony drug charges. This first round put him in prison.

“This is not a gift of the court,” Riverside County Superior Court Judge Randall White told the star who responded, “Thank you for your consideration, your honor.”

A gift or not, it seems that Riverside County is the right place to get arrested.
