'Expendables 3' whistles its way through teaser trailer

No matter how much I think the Expendables franchise is nothing more than a shameless money grab by a bunch of washed up action stars looking to trade their integrity for one last score, its box office performance immediately undercuts anything that I say. After scoring an unexpected $100 million payday with the original film, the sequel faltered slightly, only brining in $88 million.

But still, that's $88 million and a vociferous fan base that is anything but short on suggestions as to what has been action star should next join the clan.

This time around for The Expendables 3 newcomers include Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas and Kelsey Grammer. It's amazing that no one hasn't spoofed this series yet with a bunch of old farts with walkers and those motorized buggies.
