Cap America is back in a big way in first 'Winter Soldier' trailer

If you think that DC had suddenly taken the upper hand in their fight with Marvel with their news of Batman vs. Superman, allow me to present to you the first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

*drops mic*

OK, maybe that's a bit too drastic, but the point still remains. Marvel knows how to make a kick ass film and better yet, they know how to craft a trailer that will literally leave you salivating to watch more. Not only is Captain America back, but oh look, there's the Black Widow and Nick Fury.

Did you think you'd only see the Helicarrier in Avengers movies? Wrong, here it is and, oh snap it's getting blown up as it crashes. Marvel has built a franchise based on familiarity and always delivering entertaining films. The hits just keep on coming.

What I love about this trailer is that we get a peek at Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie, whom I adore, and just enough of the Winter Soldier to pique our interest. What am I doing still talking about this trailer? Just click below and watch it.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters on April 4, 2014. Hmm, that should be right around the time when the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is wrapping up, can you say synergy?

Oh, and for the heck of it, they got Robert Redford for a key role, simply because they can. I'm sorry DC, but Marvel is still winning this battle - for now.
