Tom Green's 'Freddy' Gets Sliced For DVD

OK, so Freddy Got Fingered starring Tom Green bombed at the box office. But it's now getting a rebirth on DVD.

Included in the Oct. 23 release of the full-length movie on DVD will be a three minute version of the movie. The reduced length is due to all the cuts necessary for the film to qualify for a PG rating from the MPAA. The shortened film did have to be submitted to the MPAA to earn the family-friendly rating.

The film short, featuring a pleasant-voiced narrator, is intended as a joke but also works well for those who can't take Tom Green in large portions.
