Tom Cruise Turns 39 With A Bang

Outside all of the controversy surrounding his recent divorce, Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise is still the smiling, fun-loving guy his friends love to be around. He turned 39 on July 3rd and those same friends couldn't stay away.

Mission: Impossible was far from the case as the star and many of his friends, including Renee Zellweger, Penelope Cruz, Jenna Elfman, Cuba Gooding Jr., Rob Lowe and Jim Carrey showed up at the Buffalo Club in Los Angeles to sing "Happy Birthday" to their pal.

Soon-to-be-ex Nicole Kidman urged friends to stay away from the bash and keep on her side. Some responded with a "no can do."
