Ben Affleck speaks out on being Batman

This is something that I've been meaning to do for awhile and this is the perfect little piece to get it started. Every morning, the first thing I do is spend some time scanning entertainment sites, Twitter, etc. to try and get a pulse on what's important today in entertainment.

Sometimes, a big story breaks overnight, but usually it's just a rehash of yesterday's news with some reaction from the late night talk shows. Quite often though, there's something funny or interesting enough that I want to share it with everyone, but it doesn't warrant a full-blown story.

I like to call these items "Morning Quickies" and I usually just tweet them out and that's that. But, I think I'm going to change it up a bit and try and post a "Quickie" each morning, or at least as often as the news warrants it.

There won't be much writeup, usually just a sentence or two to set it up, but hopefully, it puts a smile on your face to start the day. Here, Ben Affleck was on Jimmy Fallon's show last night and they inevitably talk about his casting as Batman in Man of Steel II: Superman vs. Batman. Before that though, they talk about being fathers and raising young kids who don't yet fully grasp the glow of stardom.

I guess it's that part that touched my heart more than anything else. Tim was just impressed that he didn't spill the beans on Bieber as Robin.
