The greatest American film is finally getting ready to make headlines again. Citizen Kane will make the transition to DVD on September 25 with a double disc set to retail at $29.99.
The jam-packed special edition will feature two audio commentaries, one with Orson Welles biographer Peter Bogdanovich and the other by film critic extraordinaire Roger Ebert. The second disc is devoted to a two hour documentary entitled "The Battle Of Citizen Kane," which chronicles the real life power struggle between Welles and William Randolph Hearst. Rare footage from interviews with the cast and from Welles' historic "War Of The Worlds" broadcast is also included.
