Nolan's films get abridged and lambasted in new videos

If there's one film maker that stands above the others for me, it's easily Christopher Nolan. His films are real and gritty and evoke an emotional response that very few artists ever master.

If there are two film/comedy web sites that I love, they would be Screen Junkies and Screen Rant. The "Honest Trailers" series at Screen Junkies is easily my favorite ongoing humorous poke at the film industry.

So, it's no surprise that when these two sites turned their sights onto my favorite director that I'd be there laughing my ass off.

First up, the fine folks at Screen Rant edited the three Nolan Batman into one neat and tidy three minute video. While my colleague Tim seems to think that "nearly anyone could cobble that together," I tend to end on the other side of the fence.

It takes a ton of time and patience to edit nearly 8 hours of footage into a single three minute video. Then, for that video to be cohesive and a pretty decent representation of the entire arc, is nothing short of impressive in my eyes.

What do you think? Check out the video below and let us know what you think.

It's been a long time coming, but Screen Junkies finally put together an honest trailer for Inception. In true Honest Trailers fashion, they point out the obvious knocks against the movie, but much like their take on The Dark Knight, they pretty much resign themselves to the fact that it's a kickass movie.

Every Honest Trailer is hilarious and this one is no exception.
