Violence galore in new 'Django,' 'Evil Dead' trailers

The trailers keep on coming and we keep posting them for you. If you're a fan of blood, then you will absolutely enjoy the double treat we have for you today.

'Tis the season and all.

With Halloween right around the corner, we've got one spook fest trailer and one from a director that is so spooky, it should be criminal.

First up though is the first look and trailer from a remake of a cult-classic. You all know how I feel about remakes, especially when they remake classic films that should remain undisturbed.

But much like the events in the films themselves, they've opened the Book of the Dead and unleashed the wrath of the spirits of the first film (and the fans) upon themselves. Evil Dead is an interesting case study because the re-make has the blessing and involvement of both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell from the original film.

Personally, I'm torn because The Evil Dead is the perfect sort of film that you don't want to see remade because the patina is what makes it a classic. On the flip side, there has been such a huge leap in film making and special effects that new version will almost certainly stand on its own.

Had I never seen the original, I would certainly be intrigued by the new version. But, the fact that I have seen it will constantly impact my enjoyment (or lack thereof) of the re-make.

The other trailer today is the latest in a series of trailers for Quentin Tarantino's new film Django Unchained. It's an international trailer, so the dates will be off, but it's interesting to watch all four trailers and realize that each one is unique and the tone shifts from one to another.

The more we see of Django Unchained, the less sure I am that I know what to expect when I finally sit down in the theater and watch this film. Check out the most violent offering yet below and let us know what you think of that one.

Django Unchained opens up on Christmas day, while Evil Dead opens up on April 12, 2013.
