The Sequel Track Heats Up

They should just rename Hollywood to Sequel-wood. This summer, it feels like every week is marked with a movie that detroys expectations and immediately the quest for a sequel is initiated. This week, that movie is The Fast And The Furious.

After opening up at the box office with $40.1 million, the $38 million movie is already gearing up for a sequel. Sources indicate that writers went to work on the script to The Fast And The Furious 2 yesterday. Apparently, the sequel will build upon the "hidden scene" from the original movie that played at the end of the credits.
