'The Matrix' To Keep Its Edge

With all the Hollywood films these days that are bowing to the MPAA to get the best possible rating so that they can market their movie to the largest possible audience, it's nice to see that some Hollywood types are still making movies without regard for what rating they "need" to get.

Joel Silver, producer of The Matrix and the upcoming The Matrix: Reloaded, assures fans from the first movie that the sequel will retain the gritty, hard edge that made the original one of the surpise hits of 1999. "The Matrix sequels are R-rated and that's just the way that worked out...I'm proud that we do not make these pictures for children. These films are R-rated for a reason."

That reason, of course, is our enjoyment. Keep up the good work Joel!
