Kate Winslet Starts Her Singing Career

A song featuring the singing talents of sultry Kate Winslet is set to be released as a single this fall. The song, "What If?", is from the soundtrack of a new animated version of Dicken's "A Christmas Carol". Winslet also provides the voice for one of the film's characters, Belle.

EMI, the record label issuing the soundtrack, hopes she will record again. No word from Winslet's camp has been made regarding her future as a singer.

The animated film is set for release this Christmas.
