Today marked the first time that this year's "Dream Team" took to the court in London and despite a sluggish first quarter, the U.S. Men's basketball team rolled over France 98-71. Of course, what happens on the court usually takes a back seat to what is said off the court.

Everyone knows that the U.S. will win gold and won't lose a game, or probably even be challenged along the way. Personally, I hate the fact that NBA players are allowed to play and wish they'd go back to the college guys, but that's an argument for another day.

But it is what it is.

Perhaps the biggest roadblock for the U.S. Men's basketball team is their own mouths. Kobe Bryant and Lebron James both came out and said that their team would beat their 1992 counterparts.

Allow me to answer that question for them. Or rather allow me to tap the talented Tracy Morgan to provide my answer.

So yeah, if by some miracle they lose a game, then I think I'll laugh and call it karma. But speaking of dreams, here are the medal winners for dreamy movies.

BRONZE

Is there anything creepier than a serial killer who attacks you in your dreams? When I was 10, I know that A Nightmare on Elm Street did a number on my own personal dreams. I lost a lot of sleep as child thanks to this movie.

Freddie Krueger is an iconic movie monster and the fact that he hangs out in your dreams only makes him that much more of a badass.

SILVER

Is this first two thirds of this movie simply a dream? Or perhaps it's two competing realities. Whatever Mulholland Drive may be, it's crazy and bizarre and I love it.

What else would you expect from David Lynch? Conceived as TV pilot, it was turned into a movie when ABC passed on the final product. Which means that we will probably never know what Lynch intended, but I'm going with the dream sequence interpretation.

GOLD

Christopher Nolan's vanity project quickly became the most talked about movie of 2010. Inception also became one of my personal favorites of all time, so it's no real surprise that it took home the gold.

When it comes to dream movies, when you consistently make sense when you're in a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream, you're in a class of your own.

Universal adds to its lead, but Warner Bros. is making a competition out of it.

Make sure you come back tomorrow when we look at a few good twists.
