Yet Another Nicolas Cage Superhero Rumor

Whenever someone starts casting a superhero/comic book movie, Nicolas Cage's name always comes up. He was long associated with the Superman remake, playing a slightly balding man of steel, and now, it seems that he's slated to play the lead in Ghost Rider.

Cage would play Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman who sells his soul to the devil to save his girlfriend's life (what was he thinking?), but turns into a demon with fire wielding powers after the deal goes sour (why do all deals with the devil go sour?).

Ghost Rider is hoping to "Blaze" into theaters during the Summer of 2003.
