'Piranha 3DD' is double the goofy in first trailer

Dimension dropped the first trailer for the sequel Piranha 3DD and surprisingly it's a green band one for the racy horror/exploitation film. Of course, saying that it's green band is like saying that Dolly Parton is capably endowed.

It's factual yes, but a bit misleading.

As my co-hort Tim quipped, "it's the most redband greenband trailer you'll ever see." After watching it with my own eyes over and over and over again, I couldn't agree with him more.

There are more booties shaking in the first 20 seconds than in Sir Mix-A-Lot's entire music video collection. Yes, that's a lot of shaking going on.

So, what about the trailer? Well, I'm probably not the best person to ask since I never saw last year's original film. But it's safe to say that if you like campy horror and lots of 3D cheese, then you'll be extremely happy with Piranha 3DD.

As an impartial third party, I think it looks like there are some funny moments, although they may all be in the trailer. All in all, everyone knows what they're getting with this film and it looks like the folks over at Dimension delivered.
