How slow is it around these parts this week? Well, this news story should give you some sort of an idea.
Apparently, a Russian version of the teaser trailer for The Avengers popped online today and while it's precisely two minutes in length (the same as the American trialer), there's a miniscule amount of new footage in this trailer.
So yes, what amounts to maybe 10 seconds of new footage of a movie that won't be in theaters for 5 months is newsworthy. It's that slow today.
The new footage seems to focus more on Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow (and really, what's wrong with that?), Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Loki's diabolical plot. My Russian is a bit rusty, but I'm pretty sure the voice over is different as well.
Check it out and wait until it hits theaters on May 4, 2012.
