Salma's New Friend Turns Foe

Hot tamale Salma Hayek may have ended up with more than she bargained for on the set of her latest movie, Frida Kahlo.

Her on-screen pet monkey attacked the actress out-of-the-blue and sent her to the hospital. "It went for my face but got my hands, arms and fingers. I'm marked for life but luckily they have little teeth. Even so, the bites were extremely painful," Ms. Hayek said.

The Wild, Wild West star suffered nerve and ligament damage from the attack.
