I'm a sucker when it comes to list, even more so when those lists are compiled into a video. So, it should come as no surprise that when I saw this video over at /Film, it was love at first sight.

YouTuber mewlists has compiled a bunch of great film-related videos, but this one is my favorite. It compiles a list of the "25 Greatest Unscripted Scenes in Film."

Naturally, any good list is judged by many factors, not the least of which is its ability to stir up conversation and here's where this list excels. First, there seems to be debate over whether some of these scenes were truly improvised and then there's always the scenes left off the list that are always someone's favorite.

For my money (oh wait, it's free), I think mewlists nails the list and order. Sure, you can quibble over some of the selections and their merit, but the fact remains that sometimes the most memorable parts of movies happen by accident.

As an aspiring screenwriter myself, I appreciate the written word of course, but it would also be a waste of talent not to rely upon the actors and actresses to do what they do best. Check out the list and let us know what you think.

What I do find interesting is just how many Stanley Kubrick scenes made the cut. I should also warn you that quite a few of the clips in the video contain mature language that may be unsuitable for some audiences. In other words, if you're at work, turn down the volume a bit.
