As many of you know, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the teaser trailer for The Hangover Part II, well at least the timing of said trailer and lack of a proper release of a full trailer. It felt to me that Warner Bros. was banking on the simply putting out the shingle for the sequel and expecting everyone to show up.

In today's economic climate, that's a risky strategy, but one that has seemingly paid off as we sit a mere two weeks from its theatrical release. It seems that many people are salivating over the movie despite being shown practically nothing from the movie itself.

In lieu of a series of trailers, Warner Bros. has been dropping a slew of TV spots that have proven to remind the audience that The Hangover Part II is coming out soon.

Well, last night Warner Bros. pushed out a whole bunch of stills from the movie and I went through and chose some of the more interesting shots or ones that we haven't seen in the trailer or TV spots. The new images seem to indicate that the script doesn't stray too far from the original and that certain iconic moments are recreated in the sequel.

Having spoken to someone who has actually seen The Hangover Part II, he assured me that the new movie is as good as the predecessor, if not better. In fact, he said that the levels of debauchery were such that he's surprised how much got past the MPAA to secure an R rating.

Now, doesn't hearing that make you want to rush right out and see it? Well, you do have to wait until May 26, but in the meantime enjoy these new images and let us know what you think.
