In a recent online chat, David Hasselhoff confirmed rumors and announced that he will star in a new 'Knight Rider' movie, updating the TV series of the early '80s. One report has the title of the movie as, Super Knight Rider 3000.
According to Hasselhoff, the movie will be set in the future where his character, Michael Knight, will return from retirement after being cryogenically frozen. He will fight crime with a young, female partner. Hasselhoff was unaware if the movie will be released theatrically (yeah, right) or as a TV movie of the week.
Knight's infamous car, K.I.T.T., will also be updated with a new look and gadgets.
Hmmm... What's the trade-in value of a good 1982 Pontiac Trans Am with wise-cracking, effeminate voice?
