'Thor' gets a taste of the TASER

Everyone knows by now that I absolutely love and adore Natalie Portman, despite her crazy laugh, but I'm afraid that Thor is doomed despite her appearance in the movie. Ever since the Super Bowl debacle, we've been questioning how Paramount could market Captain America so masterfully, while falling down completely on Thor.

Maybe, it's simply a case of too few resources stretched too thin? Whatever the case, I had to share this first clip from Thor that Marvel debuted online yesterday.

From the looks of it, the clip takes place right after Thor is banished from Asgard and it seems that the movie will indeed break from the continuity of the comic book as Thor seemingly retains all of his memories of Asgard and won't have to become his alter-ego Donald Blake. Not being a big comic book fan, I'm not sure if this change in continuity will besmirch Thor's legacy, but I'm pretty sure it will.

Take solace true believers, watch this clip and enjoy the retribution that Thor receives.
