FunnyorDie.com 'Can't Wait' to bring the funny

While Will Ferrell's comedy video hosting site FunnyorDie.com continues to be a daily stop for us, there hasn't been much lately worth sharing for you all here. Well, it seems that the folks over at FunnyorDie.com are stepping it up.

While the site's best stuff is usually of the one-off variety starring some of Hollywood's best and brightest, there are some rather impressive recurring videos such as Zach Galifianakis' interview series Between Two Ferns. Looking to join this elite status is a new series called "Can't Wait for the Movies."

The premise behind "Can't Wait for the Movies" is simple. Two wannbe Siskel and Eberts can't wait for some upcoming movie and decide to make one of their own and then review it. Their first entry is a spoof of this past weekend's opening movie Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son starring child TV star Jaleel White.

The bit works because let's face it, everyone groaned when they saw the trailer for Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son and scratched their heads trying to figure out why anyone would green light this movie. Well, maybe if "Can't Wait for the Movies" takes off, we can be spared unnecessary sequels like this in the future.

What did you think of the new series? I can't recommend surfing around their site and discovering other gems on there. While the lastest James Franco video (asking Judd Apatow for Oscar hosting advice) left me lacking, it did pop me over to the one below which isn't for the faint of heart (i.e. the foulest of foul language), but will have you in stitches.
