The King's Speech was crowned with the most nominations for this year's Academy Awards. The true tale of England's King George VI starring Colin Firth earned 12 nods.

Other favorites included True Grit (10 nominations), The Social Network (8), Inception (8), The Fighter (7), 127 Hours (6), Black Swan (5), and Toy Story 3 (5). Each of these received a selection in the 10-film Best Picture race.

The love for True Grit is not surprising for this critical and public favorite but remember that the film didn't even earn a single nomination at this year's Golden Globes. Another notable nominee is Winter's Bone. The rural drama picked up four deserving nods including ones for Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes and Best Picture.

Of course there are movies and individuals that critics feel are overlooked by the Academy. Most are pointing to Christopher Nolan's omission in the Best Director category for Inception. Others think Daft Punk should've earned recognition for their Tron: Legacy musical score. Get Low was surprisingly ignored as well.

With only 20 total slots for acting nominations there always worthy performances ignored. Lots of people on Twitter have mentioned Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter, Mila Kunis in Black Swan, and Andrew Garfield in The Social Network as oversights.

Here are all the nominees in every category.
