Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake Not Dead

Proving that vicious rumors can move very quickly, news of pop princess Britney Spears and her *N Sync-er boyfriend Justin Timberlake's involvement in a fatal car crash swept through radio air waves and the Internet on Tuesday.

According to the hearsay report, Spears was killed and Timberlake was in a coma due to the wreck in Los Angeles. Apparently the root of the rumor was DJ team Kramer and Twitch in San Jose, California. They cited a source within Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.

The Los Angeles Times quickly dismissed the story with a report from the coroner's office. This came despite hundreds of calls from frightened fans to local police, fire and hospitals.
