Earlier this week, The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) celebrated 20 years of existence. That's quite a feat and as a website in a related field, we certainly tip our hats to the accomplishment.
Of course, the Internet was a much different beast in 1990. Heck, I remember "surfing the Telnet" days in college in 1993 and the graphical Web that everyone knows and loves today was still a few years off. But, IMDb is pulling out all the stops and have enlisted some A-list (and not so A-list) Hollywood celebs to share their IMDb memories with the world.
One person that they failed to ask though was Will Ferrell. But that didn't stop the comic actor and long-time director buddy Adam McKay from sharing their, um, thoughts about the site and the "Intranet" as a whole on their site Funny or Die.
As you can imagine, Ferrell brings the funny and I'm sure the folks at IMDb enjoyed their own personal send up. Watch it below and let us know what you think.
Congrats IMDb on the huge feat. We're nine years behind you and we can only hope and imagine that Will Ferrell will roast us in 2019.
