This is the problem with Quentin Tarantino, he always has a lot of irons in the fire. You might recall we mentioned last week about his desire to make Vega brothers spinoff, well this week comes Tarantino news of a whole other variety.

The Guardian is reporting that there are strong rumors that Tarantino was so impressed with Lindsay Lohan's work in bud Rbbert Rodriguez' Machete that the master of career comebacks is eyeing one for Lohan that would be "shocking" and "hardcore."

Quentin Tarantino has consistently fueled the comebacks of many of stars whose careers have fallen on hard times, that his projects are almost expected to have a career resurrection in them just like M. Night Shyamalan's movies are expected to have a twist at the end. It's happened so often that this news can't immediately be dismissed out of hand despite how outlandish it might sound.

This news hearkened us back to a piece we wrote last year about which stars were in desperate need of a comeback. While Lohan might benefit from the Tarantino treatment, we figured that there had to be other stars more deserving of a comeback.

Off the top of my head, I'd rather see Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Ringwald, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Phoebe Cates, Jennifer Connelly or Michael Keaton get the Tarantino treatment over Lohan, but that's just me. Whose career would you like to see Tarantino resurrect next?
