Trailer for 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' will spook you

Unlike when I was 10 or so when the original A Nightmare on Elm Street came out, very few things scare me these days. And the things that scare me are very much real and out of my control.

But after watching the trailer for the new A Nightmare on Elm Street, I found myself instantly transported to my innocent pre-teen self and actually caught myself jumping a few times. I'd say right there that the producers have succeeded in what they were trying to do.

In particular, hearing Jackie Earle Haley's voice emanating from the iconic horror villain gave me chills that instantly has placed this movie on my personal "must see" list come April 30.

Speaking of must see movies, anyone familiar with this site and my own personal tastes knows that I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan and as such, I will be going to see Cop Out tonight. So, look for my review (I sure hope it's positive) on Monday.
