Whiplash takes center stage on new 'Iron Man 2' poster

It seems that Paramount isn't wasting any time getting the hype machine up to full gear for next year's tentpole title Iron Man 2. Last week, Tim gave you a glimpse at the first poster for the sequel that showcased the titular character standing back-to-back with War Machine.

This week, Paramount and Apple check in with another character one-sheet poster that features Mickey Rourke's villain Whiplash. The poster is in keeping with the dark images from the original poster and gives a bit of background concerning Whiplash's near serial killer obsession with Tony Stark.

For those of you looking for a trailer, your wait is about to end. Paramount confirmed that the Iron Man 2 trailer will be attached to Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Day. If that doesn't seal the deal for Tim to see Sherlock Holmes, then I don't know what will.

Seeing the trailers for Iron Man 2 and Kevin Smith's latest (formerly known as A Couple of Dicks, but recently given a new, more PC title) film is worth the price of admission alone.
