'Wolverine' trailer is now on MySpace -- but don't let that deter you

The term 'fanboy' has lost some of its meaning. Now it refers to someone who has an obsessive relationship with a particular item: a PS3 fanboy, an Apple fanboy, a Kevin Smith fanboy.
Back in the day, a fanboy was known in comic circles as a collector who had a religious devotion to one publisher, or in particular, one character. He (or she, I suppose) would collect every issue of containing that superhero, even if it was just a one-frame appearance.
That was me in 1983. I was an original Wolverine fanboy.
My fanaticism of the antihero with razor-sharp claws and metal skeleton has waned since I was 12 years old. After seeing the new trailer for next year's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it seems the fanboy inside me is as resilient as Wolverine himself.
Incredibly, the video is only available on that despicable scourge of a social networking site MySpace. Furthermore, you must 'friend' the profile before you can catch a glimpse. You can also see it in theaters in advance of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Either way, it's worth the effort.
The movie looks amazing. Hugh Jackman continues to be the perfect Wolverine. Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth and Taylor Kitsch as Gambit look great. The beautiful Lynn Collins is just that. Add in one of my acting favorites Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and I'm so there.
Alas, this fanboy has to wait until May 1.
