Talk about an enigma wrapped in a riddle, George Lucas has defied explanation yet again. The staunch opponent to DVD is doing an about face and jumping in bed with the newest format.
After shocking revelations that Star Wars: Episode I-The Phantom Menace will be the first Star Wars movie to go DVD this fall, we learn late last week that another of his gems, Willow, will also find a DVD audience before the end of the year.
If that weren't enough, we have it on reliable word that Lucas is readying his Indiana Jones trilogy for a special DVD treatment early next year. What gives with the sudden embrace of DVD? Did Lucas buy stock in the industry recently?
