New teaser posters for 'Disaster Movie' and 'The Spirit'

Hollywood is such a tease. We all know that. They like to tempt us with tidbits of exciting new movies and then make us wait many months, or even years, before delivering.

The concept of releasing teaser posters is perfect evidence to this phenomenon. They put out one-sheets with just a hint of information -- rarely do they offer up cast names or anything more than "coming soon."

I guess we're the enabler in this abusive relationship as we just gobble them up and ask for more.

Check out the latest in the series of teaser posters for The Spirit and Disaster Movie. By my count, these are the seventh and eighth posters for the Frank Miller action flick coming this December. (Check out the others here, here, here, here, here, and here.)

This is the fourth poster parody for this summer's comedy Disaster Movie. It's reminiscent of the international art created for Knocked Up.
