Olga Kurylenko is really the new Bond girl

Well, it turns out Gemma Arterton is not the new Bond girl in the next 007 movie as I reported yesterday.

I mean, technically I was right. She has been cast in Bond 22 and she is a girl -- believe me, I did exhaustive research on that final point. She's just not the female lead. Gemma's character "Fields" will be one of Bond's colleagues at MI6.

Ukrainian model turned actress Olga Kurylenko is the true female lead in this year's Bond movie. The 28-year-old brunette was recently in Hitman and part of the ensemble in Paris, Je T'aime.

According to the producers for the film, the actress's character name is Camille and she will indeed be the romantic lead opposite Daniel Craig.
