If there's one thing that this potential writers strike has taught us, it's that studios can be pretty creative when they need to be. Writer Peter Iliff has been brought on to write and direct a sequel to the surfer crime movie Point Break.
RGM Entertainment announced that Point Break 2 will begin filming in mid 2009 in Southeast Asia. The general storyline is an ex-surfer turned Navy SEAL is recruited to infiltrate and gang of surfers. While the news is still pretty fresh on this, there are rumors circulating Crazy Swayze's character Bodhi might not have surfed off to the Big Kahuna in the sky as originally thought in the original movie.
