Your Turn: Our readers' choices for the 'JLA' cast

If the response we got to our casting suggestions for the forthcoming Justice League of America movie is any indication, the movie is sure to be a big hit. It seems everyone has a thought on who should play the roles of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, et al.

Even more interesting is that many of you came to the same conclusions on certain candidates. There even a few rather inspired (perhaps outlandish) choices thrown in. Let's break 'em down.

CAN'T SAY AS TO JUST WHO THE PART SHOULT BE PLAYED BY ..BUT AS FAR AS CHARACTER: TO BE CAST- SUPERMAN..BATMAN..WONDER WOMAN..FLASH..GREEN LANTERN..AQUAMAN..

How about CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Jorja Fox as Wonder Woman?

I must admit I've never been a big fan of Ms. Fox. I just don't think she has the presence that WW must command. On the other hand, she is 5'9" so the size is right.

Yeah, Nadia has been a rumored candidate for the Wonder Woman movie. Even though she's far from a household name, I think she could pull it off. Plus she's got those gorgeous eyes.

Another great cast. I really like Sunjata. Funny, Eads makes this the second suggestion of someone from CSI. Maybe we could just do a CSI JLA. Despite what Steve says, William Petersen (Grissom) has to be Superman. We'll give Jorja (Sara) the Dub Dub role and then the two can be romantically involved, just like in the show. Gary Dourdan (Warrick) would be Green Lantern. George Eads (Nick) is Flash. Marg Helgenberger (Catherine) as Hawkwoman. Man, this doesn't sound too bad. They could be forensic superheroes!

For the Justice League

Wonder Woman: Eliza Dushku

Duck Shoot ranks high in my book. I like the pick but I still like Alexa Davalos better.

Aquaman is a mean, tough BLONDE king of Atlantis! Not a wimpy italian / greek looking goof. Go with someone large in stature who has enough acting ability to pull off "pissed" even when they're smiling. Keifer Sutherland could do it possibly but I would go with Sean Bean. Too many idiots watching HBO and not enough getting into the comic thing.

While I'm at it, let me run this down.

Superman - Actually Eric Bana is a good choice.

Batman - Bale is the perfect choice. I have seen no better Batman.

Wonder Woman - We need some credibility here. She's a leader on Amazon Island, not a bimbo. Alley Larter as a brunette? Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Martian Manhunter - Michael Clark Duncan.

Green Lantern - If it's Hal Jordan I would go with Chris Klein (American Pie).

Hawk Man - Vin Diesl.

Flash - who cares...

OK, OK. I'll concede that my pretty-boy selection of Randy West wasn't the greatest. But Jack Bauer as Aquaman? I don't think so. For one thing, he couldn't use his cell phone under water.

Also, you're looking for credibility in Wonder Woman and you cast Jennifer Love Hewitt? I don't think The Breast Whisperer fits the bill. (I think Ali Larter would make a great Hawkwoman.)

I know budget will be an issue, but if these actors want to play these characters IN THEIR OTHER MOVIES, they should play them in this movie as-well.(NOT THAT IT'S GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, AS A COMIC BOOK READER, AND A HUGH JUSTICE LEAGUE FAN, THEY'RE GONNA SCREW IT UP ANYWAYS!!) so I vote: superman - brandon roth batman - christian bale wonderwoman - jessica biel flash - ryan ryenolds is a great choice, i never thought of that one! AND FOR THE REST, IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER, THEY ARE THE SECONDARY JLA CHARACTERS, AS LONG AS THEY CAN ACT, THEY CAN REMAIN IN THE BACKGROUND...

HERE'S MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS ONLY A FOCUS ON THE'JLA'...WHAT ABOUT THE BAD GUY? in the comic books, THERE IS ALWAYS A BAD GUY...they need to cast some really good actors as the bad guys...i think they're gonna need a bigger budget!!

First off, of course they're going to screw it up. That's why we're offering our assistance.

Like many readers, Glen is insisting on Routh and Bale in their recent roles. Plus he's echoing the current rumor of Biel as Wonder Woman. You also have to hand it to the guy for reminding us about the baddies. That's a crucial part of the movie we overlooked. As much as I like Kevin Spacey, he just didn't cut it as Lex Luthor.
