New 'The Dark Knight' photos surface

If you read all the movie news sites, the following 19 photos from the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight, have been leaked onto the internet. That is, they have apparently been publicized without the consent of Warner Bros.,
I, on the other hand, think WB purposefully released them. Warner and their publicity companies have been doing some wacky, viral marketing stuff. There was the first look at The Joker that appeared and then disappeared. There was the teaser trailer which materialized and went away in the same quick manner.
I bet Warner wants you to think they were leaked so it adds an extra bit of mystique to them.
I think they stand on their own merit. This movie is gonna kick ass.
The Dark Knight arrives in theaters on July 18, 2008.
