Gordon Gecko, the face of the halcyon days of Wall Street, is going for round two and day traders everywhere can't wait to bet on its success. The man who gave us such classic movie lines as "Greed is good," "If you need a friend, get a dog," and "The most valuable commodity I know of is information" is coming back with more zingers to litter big business in the new millennium.

It was revealed that Fox has given the green light to Money Never Sleeps (yes, another Gordon Gecko phrase) a follow-up to Oliver Stone's 1987 hit Wall Street. Michael Douglas is on board to reprise his Academy Award-winning role as Gecko, but co-star Charlie Sheen and director Stone are not expected back for the sequel.

Money Never Sleeps will pick up with Gecko following his release from prison as he attempts to rebuild his empire in the hedge fund business.
