Various online sources indicate that megastar Mel Gibson is giving serious consideration to starring in Signs, the next movie from M. Night Shyamalan.

Shyamalan, best known for shocking the world with The Sixth Sense and single-handedly restoring Bruce Willis' career, has said that Signs will chronicle crop circles that appear mysteriously on a rural Philadelphia farm.
