Where's LaBeouf? In 'Indiana Jones 4'

Rising actor Shia LaBeouf's involvement in Indiana Jones 4 has been rumored for months, but those rumors were put to rest today when Steven Spielberg and George Lucas confirmed that indeed LaBeouf is cast in the third Raiders of the Lost Ark sequel.

"We are excited about bringing Shia into our Indy family," said Spielberg. "His talent has impressed not only his audiences throughout his young career but the directors, producers and fellow actors who have worked with him in his television career and now his film career."

Rumors have persisted that Shia will play Harrison Ford's son in Indiana Jones 4, but no information was revealed concerning his role.

Indiana Jones 4 will start filming this Summer in L.A. and worldly locales yet to be announced. The film is slated to debut in theaters on May 22, 2008.

Shia not only stars in this weekend's release Disturbia, but he's sure to make a big splash as the lead in Michael Bay's Transformers on July 4th.
