Fox proves 'bald is beautiful' with its big summer movies

When Twentieth Century Fox sent us some pics from their three big summer movies, we noticed one common thread. As a result, we are declaring this summer as "The Summer of the Bald Man."

Rise up, my bald brethren. We, the follically-challenged of the world, finally have our moment in the sun. (Just not too much sun, please. That would burn our bared heads!)

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you John McClane, The Silver Surfer, and Homer Simpson in all their bald glory.

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer arrives in theaters June 15, Live Free or Die Hard starts June 29, and The Simpsons Movie (our most-anticipated of the three) finally arrives on July 27.

Sorry, Fox. I really wish I could say that any of these three movies had a shot at winning one of those other bald guys -- Oscar.
