The artistic and sophisticated woman (age 35-60) is the target of our latest gift guide. These selections are both hip and new and reflect a motherly touch that all women of this age feel.

Scoop

The latest from writer/director Woody Allen will be a nice addition to this person's DVD collection. While a woman in this group grew up with Allen's romantic comedies, this time she'll fall in love with him again with his subtle nuance and mystery.

The Devil Wears Prada

Based on the book of the same name, the film stars Meryl Streep in an iconic role that will surely resonate with everyone in this group. A great little flick for that last minute DVD shopping.

Little Miss Sunshine

With Christmas close by it can mean only one thing, awards season is right around the corner. This film features some of the year's best acting performances and will surely be a hit.

Monk: Season 4

Tony Shalhoub found his way into womens hearts during his role on Wings and he returns to the TV in this highly successful TV comedy. Whether it's Season 1 for the new fan or the latest offering for the seasoned Monk vet, you can't go wrong here.

The Sound of Music: 40th Anniversary Edition

The hills are always alive with The Sound of Music and this mega special edition has all the bells and whistles. If it's not already in your loved one's DVD collection, that's a crime that you can rectify this Christmas.

The Oprah Winfrey Show 20th Anniversary Collection

I'm not sure what the big deal with Oprah is, but I do know that women in this group can't get enough of her. This collection is an amazing compilation of 20 years of her show that will surely bring tears and laughter to your loved one.

When The Levees Broke

You will have to wait until Tuesday (December 19th) to purchase this last minute Christmas DVD, but the wait will be worth it. Filmmaker Spike Lee puts perspective and lens on the tragedy that was Hurricane Katrina and the New Orleans flooding. This emotional packing film is a must-see for everyone in this group.

White Christmas

Is there any other Christmas movie that even holds a candle to this holiday classic? Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen shine in this musical that has become eponymous with the season. The songs are classic and the comedy still holds up to this day.
