Paris and Kumar go to White Castle

When a socialite needs a hamburger, nothing will stop her. Apparently, not even her blood alcohol content. Paris Hilton was arrested Thursday on suspicion of drunk driving when police officers noticed that she was driving erratically.

Paris defended herself to American Idol host and part time DJ Ryan Seacrest, "Everything I do is blown out of proportion and it really hurts my feelings. So maybe I was speeding a little bit and I got pulled over. I was just really hungry and I wanted to have an In-N-Out burger."

Los Angeles Police have disclosed that Paris' blood alcohol content was .08, the minimum amount that would lead to an arrest. Most pundits seem to think that the first time offender will end up with a fine, probation and community service.

The real punishment could come from Carl's Jr. Paris was featured in a racy ad for the burger joint last year and they probably won't take too kindly to their "spokeswoman" visiting the competition.
