More 'Hobbit' goodness in 2007?

A day has not gone by since Return of the King came out that there wasn't some sort of rumbling about the prequel to the trilogy, The Hobbit. We know that New Line has the rights to the property and that Peter Jackson and company have expressed interest in eventually going back to the Shire.

But now, a mystery scooper has clued fan site TheOneRing.net that "The Hobbit" might be hitting theaters sooner than anyone expected. According to the anonymous source, they had visited the New York New Line offices and had seen a document illustrating their upcoming releases and saw July 2007 next to "The Hobbit."

That seems like a really quick turnaround for a movie of that magnitude.
