'Fantastic Four' Finally Hitting The Big Screen?

The Fantastic Four might be celebrating their 40th birthday this year, but this year is shaping up to be a rebirth for them of sorts. First, the success of X-Men put some faith back into their silver screen aspirations. And now, they actually have a director attached to their project.

A variety of sources are reporting that Peyton Reed, Bring It On, has agreed to steer the ship on this one. Following a roller-coaster ride like none other, experts predict that The Fantastic Four could be ready for a release late next year to provide a comic one-two punch with the sequel to X-Men.
