One ring may rule them but apparently one DVD set just isn't enough. New Line Home Entertainment will be releasing a Limited Edition set of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Coming Aug. 29, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King will each be re-released as a two-disc Limited Edition set retailing for $28.98 each.

Each release will have one disc that contains both the theatrical version and the extended cut of the film through "seamless branching," according to Home Media Retailing magazine. The second disc will have a unseen documentary on each film created by Costa Botes. There will be more 300 minutes of never-before-available footage available with these releases.

After the original release of the theatrical version followed by the extended cut, this marks the third DVD release of each of Jackson's LOTR films.
