Helena Bonham Carter joins 'Harry Potter' universe

Accomplished actress Helena Bonham Carter is being called in from the bullpen to pitch in on the Harry Potter franchise. Carter has been cast as Bellatrix Lestrange, a role originally intended for Helen McCrory.

McCrory was forced to back out of the role due to her pregnancy. Lestrange plays an integral role in Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince and presumably the as-yet unpublished Book 7.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due in theaters next Summer.
