Ben and Jen welcome baby daughter into the world

Ben Affleck is officially a father and Jennifer Garner is officially on the J.J. Abrams Alias diet as the couple gave birth to their first child this week. Apparently, Violet is the new Apple this season, which is what they named the little tike.

Both Violet and Jen are doing well.

The birth caps an interesting week for Jen that started when she found out that ABC plans on cancelling Alias after this, its fifth, season.
