Calista Faints At The News Of Friend & Co-Star

The waif-like Calista Flockhart fainted again, but this time her malnutrition was not the cause.

The 'Ally McBeal' star was so shocked when she was told Robert Downey, Jr. was arrested again, she fainted on the spot. An inside source says Calista's kind and trusting nature made her invest too much emotion and time into her drug-addicted friend. "When he was arrested last year in Palm Springs for drug possession, he told her it was a set up of some sort. None of us really bought that, but Calista is so trusting she believed him."

Downey was not only arrested, but also fired from the television show.
