For the last-minute Christmas shoppers out there, Dreamworks is hoping to fill your stockings with Surviving Christmas this holiday season after releasing theatrically only two weeks ago. Surviving Christmas will hit DVD and VHS shelves on December 21st.

The quick turn-around time from theaters to home video (60 days to be exact) is a record for a wide-release movie appearing on at least 500 screens. It ties the record for all theatrically released movies with the limited-release Shattered Glass. Other wide-release duds that took cover with quick turnarounds were From Justin to Kelly (67 Days), The Real Cancun (67 Days) and Mona Lisa Smile.

The Ben Affleck and James Gandolfini movie follows the story of a man who hires the people living in his childhood home to be his surrogate family during the holidays.
