Billy Bob Thorton is truly a star

Actor Billy Bob Thornton is the latest Hollywood elite to receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Along with the immortal star comes praise from co-workers and, apparently, ex-wives in Variety magazine.

Thornton's Bad Santa co-star Bernie Mac quipped "You deserve it! There is no Badder Santa than you!" in his full page ad. While Angelina Jolie supported her ex with an ad reading, "Billy, I love your brilliant mind... Congratulations! With love and respect always, Angie."

Billy Bob was playful when asked about Jolie's ad, "You know, it's funny. I've only met Angie Dickinson once.

Billy Bob's new movie Friday Night Lights opens today in theaters.
