'Spider-Man 2' on DVD before Christmas

Sony announced today that it was planning a November 30th home entertainment release for Spider-Man 2, the smash sequel to 2002's comic book-turned movie hit.

The two disc DVD is overflowing with special features including a documentary entitled "Enter the Web," which allows viwers to get a taste of a day on the set of blockbuster. There are over 10 hours of more standard DVD extras such as blooper reels and making of documentaries.

The suggested retail price of the DVD will be $29.96, while the VHS will sell for $24.97. There will also be a special, limited edition DVD gift set available for $49.95 that includes a portfolio of artwork inspired by the film and a reprint of a Spider-Man comic book.
